Apartment MEDITERRÁNEO 4

The "Edificio Mediterraneo" is magnificently located - frontline in the famous and beautiful city of Marbella - just 20 meters from the beach itself. All the apartments have spectacular views of either the sea or the mountains. The "Apartamentos Mediterraneo" not only have the advantage of being frontline to the beach but they are also only one minute from the city centre. Even though the centre itself is so near you do not hear all the noise normally associated with a city centre. On the beach front itself you will find many restaurants offering a variety of international cuisine.

Each apartment boasts a bedroom (with two beds), Living/Dining Room with a sofa bed, American style kitchen, complete bathroom and a large terrace/balcony. Reception is manned 24 hours, allowing telephone calls directly to and from the apartments. E-mail service is available should you require to send or receive e-mails (please ask reception for more information on this service).

The services include three clean-ups, two changes of towels and one weekly change of bed linen. Internet in the room is optional, at an additional charge of 3,00 Euro per day. For long term rentals of one month or more (except for the moths of July, August and September) the price is only 900,00 EUR per month, with one cleaning, one weekly change of towels and linen included.

Marbella is part of Spain’s Costa del Sol, Malaga. Marbella's 'micro-climate' ensures a pleasurable Mediterranean weather all year round, with bright sunny days for the greater part of the year. The combination of mountain peaks of the Sierra Blanca tucked in against the coastline promises a very mild winter with an average maximum temperature of 22.8º C and a minimum of 13º C. Summers are dry and hot and can reach temperatures that go well into the 30's. Fortunately, due to low humidity, the heat is comfortable and not sticky or overbearing.

The main attractions not to be missed are Funny Beach, Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Safari Park, Selwo Marina, Mijas and Torremolinos Aquaparks and Tivoli World Amusement Park. Gibraltar is just one  hour by car, Málaga  - 45 minutes, Ronda - 60 minutes and Mijas - 35 minutes.

Marbella is one of the Mediterranean’s most representative tourist venues and a top favourite for holidaymakers.

Its impressive and luxurious infrastructure of yacht harbours, golf courses, fine dining, nightlife, great beaches, medical facilities and its closeness to Malaga airport, are key all reasons why so many holidaymakers choose Marbella as their favourite destination.

Marbella also offers a wonderfully cosmopolitan atmosphere; with the many foreign residents creating a melting pot of cultures.

Marbella’s motto, is a way of life, and if you are looking for a way of life, which offers great beaches, wonderful all-year round climate, unique leisure facilities, gastronomy and entertainment, then choose Marbella, where you are guaranteed an unforgettable holiday experience.

History
Although Marbella is a fairly modern town, it still has an interesting history. The ‘Casco Antiguo’ (Old Town) displays much of the area’s past, with the Moorish castle and beautiful church.

Around town
In the famous Plaza de Naranja ’Orange Square’, you can while away hours, sipping sangria, taking in the beautiful surroundings and people, visiting the charming boutiques and art galleries.

The labyrinth of tiny streets and alleys that surround Orange Square will reveal further tiny shops selling all forms of trinkets, fashion and souvenirs and there are some excellent restaurants and bars for a young and trendy crowd.

Cross the road from the Old Town and you find yourself in La Alameda Park, the park is filled with exotic plants and trees and you will feel like you have arrived to a tropical forest in the centre of Marbella.

Down from the park is the Paseo Maritimo (Promenade); this is one of the favourite places for locals and visitors. The boulevard is filled with restaurants of all gastronomies; all look to the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Beaches
The Marbella coastline stretches from Cabopino through to Puerto Banus, the golden sandy beaches are clean and the water calm and clean. The beaches are home to some of the finest Chiringuitos (Beach Restaurants) in Spain. Sunday lunch in Marbella, equates to Paella on the beach, perfect!

Eating out
Whether you enjoy fine dining or traditional tapas, some of the best restaurants on the Costa del Sol can be found in Marbella, East Marbella and Puerto Banus.

The area is obviously know for its seafood, and in many restaurants you can choose your fresh catch of the day and decide how it’s cooked. Traditional tapas restaurants can also be found in the Old Town and around the streets just off the beach.

Climate
Marbella has an exceptionally mild micro climate, protected by the impressive Sierra Blanca mountain range, the winters are mild and the summer months reach 32-35 degrees.
